The glass is crushed and deposited in a wheeled bin below an opening where bottles are fed.With the ability to crush up to 100 bottles per minute, the crushed glass or ‘cullet’ is 80% smaller in volume and available for recycling.
The GC100T Glass Crusher, which operates at a height of less than 1.7m, can be installed in storage rooms, refuse areas, or the bar area itself.
Crushing class prior to collection eliminates the noise pollution caused by dumping glass bottles into a collection truck and saves a substantial quantity of storage space.
