The A406 has a 1m² floor space footprint and compresses with 8 tonnes of force in less than 15 seconds during a pressing cycle.

The A406 baler represents the third generation of Mil-tek pneumatic balers; its dual, double-cycling cylinders enhance the pressing cycle speed and force. Patented ECO-Drive technology distributes power to the pressing plate efficiently during the downward cycle and locks the pressing plate in position to further compact the material. On release, compressed air is used to return the pressing plate.

Operating on compressed air, the A406 is devoid of hydraulic lubricant and contains no inherent contamination risk.

The A406 is adaptable to compact plastic (225kg bales), cardboard (175kg bales), and other recyclable materials, and its pressing chamber is large enough to accommodate large crates and plastic bags. All Mil-tek machines come standard with EN16500 features, and the A406 has a safe and straightforward two-handed bale-out mechanism.
