Mil-tek was founded in 1992 in Denmark. From there it expanded to over 60 locations in 30 countries. The goal remains simple: to help businesses optimize their waste handling process by manufacturing machinery that helps to minimize the time, space and money wasted on waste recycling.
Denmark, 1992. A Supermarket Manager named Kristian Skannerup had become increasingly frustrated that cardboard and plastic waste was cluttering his workspace. He set about designing a machine that would resolve this issue.
Within 2 years, demand for the solution rocketed as businesses around the world sought to optimize their workspace with a simple, low-energy solution. Large mill-size balers became increasingly unpopular in favour of smaller, quieter machines.
Mil-tek's growth has been as much a product of its responsiveness, with the original offering expanded to a range of 15+ different types of balers, waste compactors, polystyrene compactors, can crushers, hydraulic presses and accessories.
