The Mil-tek 2306 is a medium to large sized baler with a floor space footprint of less than 1 square meter. The deep pressing chamber and the wide door opening makes the Mil-tek 2306 an ideal solution for companies and organisations with medium-to-large amounts of waste but with a limited amount of floor space. Whole cardboard boxes can be loaded into the machine, eliminating the need for flat packing and regular trips to outside bins/skips. Bales between 200kg (cardboard) and 250kg (plastic) fit perfectly on to a standard pallet, making them easy to store and transport. Miltek machines are designed so that almost anyone can operate them: You simply put in your material, close the door, pull the handle and let the machine do the real work. The Mil-tek 2306 has an extremely fast pressing cycle of just 8-14 seconds. The Mil-tek 2306 is powered by compressed air, either directly from an existing air-line or from a compressor supplied by Mil-tek. This means that the Mil-tek 2306 is free of both electrical and hydraulic components, minimizing the risk of fire and completely eliminating the risk of oil contamination. A two-handed bale-out function makes it fast, safe and easy to empty the baler.
Wilts Wholesale is a wholesaler of electrical supplies and equipment in the UK. A Mil-tek 2306 has overseen significant annual savings on their waste costs.
Breadwinner is an Australian catering and sandwich firm. They chose a Mil-tek baler for the financial benefits, its flexibility and usability.
Pinguin are one of Europe's largest frozen vegetable manufactures. The introduction of a Mil-tek 306 baler has seen significant improvements in their waste cost, logistics and hygiene.
A Mil-tek technician will guide you through installation, which is done by simply connecting your 2306 baler to a compressed air supply. You are now ready to start minimizing your waste.
Fill the chamber with cardboard or plastic and close the door. Once the handle is pressed down, the machine is activated and the minimizing has begun. Repeat this process until the baler is full.
Yes it is. Over the past number of years Mil-tek have been a part of a Health and Safety Executive committee that has been committed to creating new improved standards for the safe use of vertical balers. As a result we have made a significant number of improvements to the model 2306 in order to comply with EN16500 standards and to ensure safe use for the end-user. Your internal working processes and the data available on your waste streams will provide you with that answer. Together with Mil-tek, we will ensure you find the optimal spot in your workplace.
If you already have an air-line you will not need any - the machine can be simply connected to the existing air-line. If you do not have an air-line the compressor requires a standard AC outlet i.e. not a 3-phase, thus avoiding any expensive electrician-related cost.
It is recommended that you have you machine serviced annually in order to ensure it is operating correctly and safely.

Ideal for baling plastic packaging typically used in the transportation and protection of clothing and consumable items. Constant pressure ensures an extremely dense bale is produced that is both easy to handle and easy to recycle. The baler can also be used to recycle smaller volumes of cardboard in small/medium supermarkets, convenience stores and general retail outlets.
The wide door and deep chamber of the Mil-tek 2306 baler means large volumes of cardboard can be baled without the need for breaking down or flat packing. Plastic packaging stored in Mil-tek plastic bag stands can be placed directly into the baler saving time and therefore cost when dealing with packaging waste.
The modern waste technique of segregating and baling packaging waste using strategically placed recycling points has resulted in a significant increase in productivity across a range of organisations. A Mil-tek 2306 baler accompanied by a small plastic baler (such as a model 2102 or 2205 baler), and strategically placed plastic bag stand can vastly improve logistics where a steady stream of packaging waste is created in multiple areas.
