Mil-tek has enlisted the assistance of Spacemaker to offer clients a unique, all-in-one total waste management solution. Combining the small-footprint, environmentally-friendly benefits of Mil-tek with the mobile and logistical expertise of Spacemaker, they have created a unique solution to managing waste and transport costs.

The unit is an inter-modal shipping container containing three Mil-tek baling and compacting machines and a range of accessories:

• A Model 305 Baler bales cardboard, plastic, jumbo bags and other bulky packaging materials for recycling.
• A 2101 Can Crusher compacts cans by up to 90%, which can then more be transported and recycled. A moving wagon is used to store the compacted cans and drums.
• A Model X-Press 200 Compactor compacts non-recyclable garbage and waste. A Mil-tek Lift Trolley is provided for easy and safe moving of this compacted waste.

Waste Management Unit: Just Plug & Play

The machines are completely pneumatic and so are powered by compressed air, which is provided by a mobile compressor. The compressor, the air conditioning and the lighting are all powered by a single three-phase connection, meaning a very straightforward 'plug & play' solution .

The air conditioning unit is designed to maintain the hygiene and sanitation inside the unit and makes for a more ambient working environment.

The unit only requires one person to operate it, but there is space for 2-3 people, if necessary.

The unit comes complete with spare parts, tools, manuals and instructions videos as well as a 6 months' supply of consumables such as compactor bags and banding for bales. 

Units can be adapted to any size, to match individual specifications.
